MP Massage, when a notebook is no longer enough to run a business

Management platform for a massage practitioner, Switzerland. Swiss-standard accounting, nLPD/RGPD compliant.

The context

Mydai is a masseuse in Switzerland. With more than 25 regular clients, she managed everything in a notebook: records, scheduling, promotions, accounting. It had become unworkable. She'd looked for a solution in Switzerland, but the prices were out of reach for an independent practitioner. She found us by word of mouth.

The real problems

  • She could no longer remember her clients' medical records, even though they were essential for tailoring each session.
  • Her scheduling and her marketing were unmanageable. She launched lots of offers but no longer knew which ones were active or on what dates.
  • Her different types of massage, her in-home sessions and their variable rates were a nightmare to keep track of.
  • Her accounting was done entirely by hand, which cost her time and high accounting fees.

Our approach

We dug deep into the business before coding. We modeled the way she works, her services, her pricing logic, her promotions. That let us go further than she'd imagined at the start: we proposed an architecture she hadn't thought of, with several interfaces depending on the use case.

What we built

A complete platform: distinct client interfaces and a fully managed B2B space, management of in-home sessions and the different types of massage with their rates, client records. On the marketing side, a real engine: gift cards, promotions, a points-based loyalty program with cashback, and tracking of every operation. And a Swiss-standard accounting module that lets her, in one click, send everything to her accountant.

The result

Automated accounting reduced her consulting time with her accountant, and therefore her costs. The investment, under 15,000 dollars and within her budget, is paid back in about eight months thanks to the savings made. She now runs her entire business from a single platform.

An advantage she hadn't anticipated: the time difference

Since our team is in Asia, the feedback she sends at the end of her day is handled during her night. When she wakes up, the fixes are already done. She never waits a whole day for an adjustment.
